StrangerCamLive · policies
Cookies are small text files a website leaves in your browser. This page lists the ones StrangerCamLive sets, what each group does, and how to switch them off if you want to.
StrangerCamLive keeps cookies to a working minimum. They do three jobs: they keep you signed in during a visit, they remember small choices you make, and they help us count visits so we know which pages are worth improving. Nothing on that list involves following you around the internet.
These are the cookies the site cannot run without. Session cookies keep you signed in while you move between pages, and security cookies set by our hosting and content delivery layer help keep bad traffic away from the service. They are not used to track you, and the site genuinely breaks without them — sign-in, matching and coin balances all depend on them.
Preference cookies remember the little things so the site feels the same when you come back: choices you have made on the page and settings tied to your visit. If you clear them, nothing is lost except the memory — the site simply greets you like a first-timer again.
StrangerCamLive uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people use the site: which pages get read, where visitors arrive from, and where they give up. These cookies set a random identifier that lets Google count visits without telling us who anyone is. The numbers shape product decisions — a page nobody can use gets fixed, a page everybody reads gets more like it. Google processes this data under its own terms and retention rules, and the reports we see never name individual visitors.
Just as important as what is set is what is not. StrangerCamLive sets no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking identifiers and no pixels from data brokers. Nobody buys audiences here, because there is no audience data for sale.
Only two outside services set cookies through StrangerCamLive: Google, for sign-in and for the analytics described above. There are no advertising networks on this site, no social media trackers, and no data broker pixels. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
Some cookies are session cookies: they live only while your browser is open and vanish when you close it. Others are persistent and stay for a set period so the site can recognize a returning visit. Either way, you can wipe all of them at any time from your browser settings — instructions for every major browser are one search away.
Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies, either for one site or for all of them. You can also install Google's analytics opt-out add-on if you prefer your visits not to be counted anywhere that uses it. One honest warning: blocking the strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and matching from working on StrangerCamLive. Blocking analytics cookies costs you nothing at all.
If the cookies we use change, this page is updated before or as the change ships, and the current version always lives here. Questions about cookies — or about how StrangerCamLive handles data in general — go to [email protected]. Our Privacy Policy covers the wider data picture.
