Privacy Policy

The short version: you can try StrangerCamLive without creating an account, your camera and microphone only run while a call is live, and we do not sell personal information to anyone. The longer version, in plain words, is below.

What this policy covers

This page explains what information StrangerCamLive collects when you visit strangercamlive.com or use the cam chat, why that information is needed, and the choices you have over it. It sits next to our Terms of Service, which set the rules for using the platform itself.

Information you choose to give

Starting without an account. You can open StrangerCamLive and get a first random match without handing over a name, an email address or a password. Looking around and matching come before any sign-up exists.

Signing in with Google. If you decide to keep a profile, sign-in runs through Google. Google shares the basics with us — your name, your email address and your profile picture — and nothing more. Your Google password never reaches us. The account is what carries your follows, your call history and your coin balance from one visit to the next.

Writing to support. When you email [email protected], we keep that conversation so we can answer it properly and so a later question has context.

Information collected automatically

Like every website, our servers see technical details when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device and a rough location derived from the IP. Cookies keep your session alive and remember small preferences. Google Analytics counts visits and shows us, in aggregate, which pages people read and where they leave. We use those numbers to fix and improve the site, not to build an advertising profile of you.

Camera and microphone

A cam chat needs a camera — that is the whole point. Your browser asks for permission before anything starts, and the stream runs only while a call is live. Decline the permission and no image or sound leaves your device; you can still read the site and decide later.

Your video calls

Calls on StrangerCamLive happen in real time. Video and audio travel between you and your match over the connection that makes the call work; we do not record calls, and we do not place them in long-term storage. When the call ends, the stream dies with it.

Two honest caveats. First, the person you are talking to can always capture their own screen, so treat every call as something a stranger could keep. Second, if a call is reported, our moderation team may review the context of that report to keep the platform safe. The safety guide explains how reporting and blocking work in practice.

What we never do

Personal information on StrangerCamLive is not for sale — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. We do not rent it out and we do not trade it. The only outside companies that touch your data are the ones that keep the service running with us: hosting, sign-in and analytics. They process it on our behalf, under their own strict obligations.

Your choices and your rights

You can use StrangerCamLive as a guest, refuse camera access and clear cookies whenever you like. If you opened an account, you can ask us to delete it together with the personal information attached to it: email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will take care of the rest. Questions about anything on this page go to the same place.

Adults only

StrangerCamLive is for people who are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, and any account found to belong to someone under 18 is closed. Suspect someone underage on the platform? Write to us at [email protected] and the team will step in.

Changes to this policy

If the way StrangerCamLive handles information changes, this page changes first, and the current version always lives here. Anything meaningful gets flagged on the site rather than slipped in quietly. Keep using StrangerCamLive after an update and the updated policy applies to you.
